In the Messenger this week, there was an article on 3D Blender. You can see Zara Gibbens in front of an image she is turning into a 3D object. If you are keen to learn how to do this as well, then register for this workshop at the conference.

An encyclopedia for older students - on sustainable development

front.jpg

This site is very interesting and has a lot of information for these topics. There is a bit of reading involved so not really a site for younger students.

site2.jpg

This is a link to the site

e-asTTle is an online version of asTTle. It includes several new features in response to feedback from teachers and principals who have been using asTTle v4. For further information about e-asTTle, go to About e-asTTle or e-asTTle FAQ. Also have a look at the e-asTTle demo, which will provide a glimpse of what e-asTTle looks like and the available features.

The e-asTTle pilot for 2008 is now closed. Registrations for the 2009 e-asTTle pilot will open on 1 September 2008. The 2009 e-asTTle pilot will include reading, mathematics, writing, pānui, pāngarau and tuhituhi, as well as e-asTTle Numeracy Project Assessments.
