Stick Notes on Websites

A great way to annotate a website that you want your students to view  and provide tips or instructions on what students should be looking for or researching on the website.

Webnotes can be installed as a toolbar in your web browser or use the online toolbar through the webnotes website.

How it works: - Either login to the webnote website or activate the toolbar in your web browser. Go to the website/webpage you wish to annotate. Start adding your stickie notes. When finished click the “share” button and a unique URL will be generated. Use this link to direct your students to the website. When they view the website they will be able to use the webpage as normal, but will see your stickie notes, with your comments/instructions.  Since the website is viewed via the Webnotes website, there’s no “defacing or altering the original site.
