Monkey Machine – make a backing track

Monkey Machine is a free and easy to use online drum machine.

To run Monkey Machine, click the green “launch” . If the application won’t start, check that Javascript is enabled in your browser, and Java Runtime Environment 1.5 or later is installed in your system.

Monkey Machine features:

  • High quality drum samples provided by Natural Studio and Hydrogen.
  • Extremely accurate timing.
  • Online drum beat database with over 10 000 downloadable drum beats.
  • MIDI export.
  • Tap tempo.

Sumdog – Free online interactive Math Games

Sumdog is another website much like Arcademic Skill Builder which uses fun interactive games for learning Math. There are multiple games to choose from and you can signup for free to play your classmates, play against others around the world or simply compete against the computer.

Learning Another Language?

Lingro is a great website if you’re learning another language or viewing a website that uses non-english text.

Simply visit the Lingro website, and enter the url of the webpage you want translated. The webpage will load normally through Lingro. All you do is click on a word and a small window opens with a translation and definition of the word in english.

It also has a dictionary where you can simply enter words to be translated.
