With Wall.fm, you can create your own social network site, complete with Blogs, Forums, Photo gallery, Video gallery, and Groups.
You can use Wall.fm with your classroom, to upload student content and work to showcase to parents, and provide a medium where parents can comment/communicate/participate/interact.
Using the Blog feature you can add latest “news” from your classroom, what’s happening, upcoming events etc.
With the forum section you can create individual forum topics relating to specific learning subjects, where students can reply/comment and upload documents or post homework or activities.
The picture gallery allows users to upload images to the site. The video gallery only allows for embedding video only, so videos would need to be uploaded to another site such as youtube, before linking the video to the site.
Wall.fm allows control over who can access and contribute to the site, so you have total control over who can view and comment on posts etc. You do need an email address to register.
